Default Manufacture Date of a Model 17
Could I trouble the Assemblage for the manufacture date for my Just Acquired Model 17-3? The SN is 36815.

A 17-3 would have shipped between 1967 and 1977

The serial number is stamped on the heel and either begins with a "K" like K123456 or
has the letter "K" in the serial like 5K12345 etc

The CORRECT SN is: 3K70336
