Default Presentation Case Question

I have a 3.5" Model 27-2. It's nothing particularly rare, but I think it is nice enough that I'd like a factory Presentation Case for it. There is one on the forums right now. I have no idea if the $265 price is fair, because I've never considered buying a case before. Does having a Presentation Case add to the value of the gun, even if it was not originally shipped with one? Thank you for your input.

Not worth more to me. Just one more box I've got to find a place to store away.
That sounds expensive, but I don't know current pricing on them.

I think it will add to the price some if selling. But like Florida guy, just another thing to have to store away somewhere.

Unless your showing your gun somewhere or taking pictures, there isn't much use for them. Not a good place to store your guns.

If I get a gun with the case I usually sell it, makes the gun cost less .

The 3.5" case is the hardest one to find and rarely come up for sale so if you are considering one here is your chance to own one. That is what these boxes go for so what you pay is what value it adds.

Thank you very much for the replies. I never considered the "Storage" factor. All my handguns are in pistol rugs in the safe; the case would eat up a lot of room. I'm going to pass on it. Thanks again.
