Default New to me 57 No Dash

I did some swapping with a good friend in South Texas recently and ended up with this 4" Model 57. The 4" N frames are by far my favorite double action sixgun, and it didn't hurt my feelings at all to send my 8-3/8" 57-1 to Corpus Christi in exchange for this one.

It is shown here wearing a set of Deacon Deason Skeeter stocks borrowed from my 624 until a proper set of stocks arrive from Culina's. This 41 will make a fine understudy to my treasured Mary Gun, and just might see some field use this hunting season.

Is that a new style S&W cylinder latch or an aftermarket piece? I like it.
