Where 16-2' s ever shipped with Target hammers and triggers but with service style grips?

If by "service style grips" you mean Magna-type rather than the pre-War service style, I believe the answer is yes. I'm guessing they would have been numbered to the gun, so it would be easy to tell. By production of the 16-2, pretty much all of those components were commonly available for special order, and the 16-2 was probably something of a special order kind of gun anyway.

This was a common combination with target-sighted K frames since the TH/TT were available, so I don't see why a K-32 would not have had this combination. A factory letter is the only way to be certain they are original to the gun.
