S prefix 29-2
Did these earlier 29-2s come in a wooden presentation case as well as later 29-2s or were they more similar to the pre 29 leather type cases?
Serial no. begins with S255.......
Thanks

The cut off date for black cases to wood was sometime in early to mid 1960.

I found my answer here on the site. Apparently, the correct presentation case for a gun with above mentioned serial would be a "clamshell".
