Default J frame grip identification

image.jpg Are these combat grips or not? I got into a "discussion" about them today and i was told they arent. I cant remember what they came off of but i have been using them on my model 60 357 carry gun. It doesnt really matter i guess but i assumed they are combat grips. I just remembered they came off a Lady Smith 3" i let my sis inlaw squirrell me out of way back.

They are definitely factory J-frame combat stocks; slightly different in the finger grooves and cutout compared to the more commonly seen round butt factory J-frame combat stocks, but they're the real deal.

And you're correct in remembering they were standard on the 3" Model 60 Lady Smith.

Thanks a bunch! I thought thats what they were. I knew they were slightly different than others but I wanted to be sure.

These were also on the rare J-frame Model 631 2" (only 190 of these)
