FIRST FLAT LATCH!!!! MODEL 36 NO DASH UNFIRED....
Local seller had this Model 36 no dash for sale for $400.00. Seemed really reasonable. Met the seller and I believe the gun to be unfired as there is no signs of powder charge in the forcing cone. If nothing else, consider the gun hardly fired. Grips numbered to gun. Beautiful high gloss finish with hardly any wear.
Serial number is 299355 which I believe is a 1962-1963 production. I have big hands and this round butt actually feels real nice. Anyway, enjoy the pics. Seems to be all correct to me. I rate the gun no less than 95% for it's age. Thanks again to all who respond to this great forum. God Bless America. .

I probably got more excited over this than other guns that I recently acquired. More pics.

Color me envious. Birth year gun for me. It would be fun to carry something the same age as you.... I have one from '66, but it has been bobbed and seen a lot of carry.

Yes the numbers of the stocks match the S/N of the gun..

I was actually amazed at the condition. Sometimes finds like this really hits home. Funny how you can buy another firearm and say "EH" glad to get it. Versus finding this in this valley of the sun and say "Yeah"...

I know the feeling. I found a pretty good 66 no dash in a pawn shop a couple years ago, but I just never really liked it enough so I sold it. Then I found a similar-condition 28-2 this week and I'm over the moon about it.
