M28-2 with a story
Bought this nice s prefix years ago in a pawnshop. Kept it a while then sold it to a close friend. Recently bought it back again. Check out the old news clipping that is taped to the inside of the (matching) box top! Priceless!

LOL, a pistol with a story! Now we know why it ended up in pawnshop in the first place.

I didn't even notice the newsclipping until I got the gun home that day. Not sure if I paid extra for it! Gun is in extremely nice condition.

Great story...and the better thing is the poor guy didn't get his blood on the gun.

Ouch!
Do you think he may have said " Shucks. I hope I don't do that again"?

For the life of me; I have never been able to understand how anyone could be dense enough to practice something like a quick draw with a loaded revolver.

So was your friend the "quick draw" artist or was that clipping from the first time you bought it?

There's a six shooter with a bona-fide story to go with it.

It was taped to the underside of the box top when I got the gun originally. As you can see the clipping matches the age of the box perfectly. I did a search on his name but to no avail. Perhaps he bled out

Hardly even a turn line on it. Guess he winged himself--both legs(?!) early on.
Nice gun.

"Hold my beer and watch this . . ." Sounds like he was quick on the trigger but slow on the draw.
