Model 19-3 Price Range
I have a friend thinking about selling a blue, six-inch Model 19-3. It's a strong 98% and has box, doc's, and unopened tools. He said he bought it 1977 and fired it a couple of times and put it away. I checked the usual places and prices are all over the place. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Checking the prices they actually sold for should narrow it down somewhat. The 6" barrel is probably the least desirable. I would say in today's market. $500 would be cheap and $800 would be high. My guess would be about $650.

For what it is worth, here in the Dallas/Ft.Worth, TX, area, I just passed on one that was very similar to your description, at $600.00. I agree with Geno44. Good luck, sir.

$650 is fair and in ten years you will be glad you did.

I purchased a six inch 19-3 in 90/95% condition about six months ago for $399 +tax, but no goodies. So I would agree with other at about $600+/-.

I'll say that at $600 to $700 it is more than reasonable. I'll be more optimistic and say that in a year you will be glad you got at that price.
