Default Missing stock screw - Plese help!

I have a pair of late 70s/early 80s vintage K-frame target stocks with the speedloader cutaway. Unfortunately, they are missing the screw. Anyone know where I can find one? Numerich and Brownells are both sold out. Thanks all for your help!

EBay has them all the time. Also S&W has sent them to me free of charge, although it took several weeks.

eBay's a winner -- usually around $7 to $10 apiece (ridiculous, but there you go). Also, try our Accessories for Sale and Wanted to Buy sections here...

What I did was buy 10 as a lot on ebay for $35. Jack First has them in blue @ about $6 plus shipping. The 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 (for sure) should work. It is nice to have a few on hand. Smith and Wesson no longer has them.

Default New screws

McMaster-Carr

This used to pop up to the correct page but something happened. You need to know the correct screw size (# 5 ??), head type, and then select the length you need.

Along with the O.P what is the size & thread pitch of the grip screws?
Do they differ for the J,K,L ,Hand ejector and Top break

I believe that since 1942, grip screws use a 5-44 thread. I think all since then (at least for K-frames) are the same length, but am not sure about that. And eBay always has them.
