Default Model 27-2 box question

I traded for this gun this morning and was just wondering if this is this the correct box for a 1975 model 27-2 with 8 3/8 inch barrel or did they all come with wood presentation boxes?

yes,no....kinda..... all of above

Riley - those plain blue boxes are proper for Presention case guns.
The wood box left the factory empty and shipped in a brown cardboard box. The plain blue box with the revolver was in the box too.
Someone will probably post a picture of the complete package for you
