Default K 38??

I have what I would identify as a K-38, 6" BBL, 3 screw, pinned BBL. There is no Model number stamped into the yolk.
The S/N is K 3121XX, I would appreciate information on the Model Number and probable year of production. Thanks in advance.

K 3121XX
K288,989 – K317,822...1957 (manufacture)
It was probably made before model numbering and stamping started.

It is a K-38 Masterpiece, and should be a 4-screw frame (counting the one at the base if the front trigger guard).

murphydog I went back and checked and you are correct there is a fourth screw in front of the trigger guard, I had never noticed it before. Thank You.
