Price check on 2" 15-3 shooter grade
Good mechanically, .004 B/C gap, times good SA & DA, lateral & end shake I'd say are below average. Bright bore, original magnas in G-VG condition. Blued finish, frame is maybe 85%. Cylinder looks like it had blood or something spilled on about 1/4 of it's surface. The area is all spotty with varying degrees of blue remaining down to white. Turn lines are pretty vague.
Seller is asking $450.
Looks pretty good to me. Thoughts? BTW, I'm in North TX and P&R guns don't stay on the shelves for long.

3-M15's
I have gotten some what lucky with the M15-2". I picked them all up on GB so these prices don't reflect the associated internet cost.
1. M15-2 2" $475
2. M15-3 2" Box and papers $557
3. M15-4 2" $525
All are in the strong 90 95% range both cosmetically and mechanically speaking. Here are a couple of photos of the -2
That's an average of $519 ea before shipping and FFL cost, what can I say I'm a sucker for a M15 2" but I will say at any given time on GB you typically find less than 10 available and if your lucky a couple under $600. A fellow Forum member has a M15-5, which I would really like to have, listed for $450 but will only sell on a FTF basis.
I think you can do better mechanically speaking online if you don't mind waiting and paying a bit more.
Good Luck, hope this helps, I have been on a real tear looking online as it is my only option so I thought I would share

That gun should be pinned, but none of the 38 Specials had recessed chambers.

Yep, I know only magnums were recessed, just P&R is the common forum term. Would anyone have known what "P" meant?:-). And I'm too lazy too spell it out.

I think if you look closer you will see this -2 is pinned and is not the M15 in question from the originator of the thread, Geeze

I paid way more last year for my M15 2" but it was pristine and in its original box (which was unexpected) so I'd say $450 is a good price.
