I don't have my books with me, but would like to verify manufacture date of 10-5, SN D252227. I'm thinking 1968?

Also, value of shooter grade, some bluing wear, mechanically very nice, with original box.

It appears it is a 1970 production gun.

Barrel length and a description of the finish loss (degree, depth, location) would help with a value estimate - it would be somewhere between $250 - 450 depending on the definition of "some bluing wear".

I'll second murphydog's 1970 response regarding date. I also tend to agree with murphydog's guestimate of value but in my neck of the woods add about $50-150 to his values, so $350 to $600 depending on barrel length, originality, and condition. Pictures would help narrow it down.
