Here's an odd one.I picked up a 28-2 4" last week at the local gunshow. On the rear face of the cylinder is stamped a large H.I've attached a picture to this post.Any ideas what its for?
Thanks
It is not odd, and actually normal for Highway Patrolman's.
I believe the "H" stamp was a fitters mark to identify the HP cylinder from the Model 27 cylinder.
