I am not sure where to post this because I am not sure if they were done pre-80 or after 1980...I thought they were done after 1980...not sure.
There was an article in Guns & Ammo about these.
My dad's friend was a Chief of police at a suburban Chicago police department. He was a cowboy gun fan, and he wanted some guns made up for himself and his detectives. He took a 25-5's, sent them to Mag-Na-Port...they shortened the barrels, ported them, added a round butt, did action work, and finished them in hard chrome.
Has anyone ever seen one of these floating around? I am not sure if Mag-Na-Port made a few of them or dozens.
Any help is appreciated. I thought they looked like the auction below, but I have not seen one of these since the late 1980's.
