Default Mod D 28-2 Cool find

I found a Mod 28-2 98% conditon with DPS23154 stamped on lift side s# s326xxx 4" barrel this pistol has a Dark red barrel and redish cylinder from factory it has never been holstered as far as i can tell, 1968\69 has anyone seen this and help with value

I found one today too. There must be a few left out there. I posted it on this forum. What I'm getting is in the $600-$800 range about everywhere in the country. Anything below $600 on a nice one is a deal. Anything below $500 is close to a steal. Below $400 and you must have been wearing a ski mask when you got it. I paid $370 for mine today and it is super nice.
