A model 35 with new Spegel grips
I received a set of full size J frame grips from Mr. Spegel yesterday for my S&W Mdl 35. I've been searching for a set of square butt grips for this revolver to fit my smallish hands. The grips are approximately the same length as the extended boot grips on my K22, but slightly reduce the trigger pull distance. They seem to fit my hand perfectly. I had a chance to shoot 100 rounds this afternoon, mostly offhand and double action at 25 yards. To my suprise, the Mdl 35 with the new grips is easier for me to place my shots with than the K22, due to the reduced length of pull.
A picture of my Model 35 with the new grips and the lined crossdraw holster that Ray at Lobo Leather made for me.

Nice Spegels on a nice revolver!
I am currently waiting on Craig to call me for my order. I'm thinking of ordering for several of my Smiths.

He makes a nice product, that's for sure. I assume you actually have a Model 35-1 since you said J frame? If he's finally making some I frame stocks, I need to place another order real quick!

You are probably right. I'll need to check when I get home.
Anyway the J frame grips fit without showing a gap on the backside.

Nice lookin' stocks and good to see you shoot your little rimfire.
Those J frames aren't often seen in the wild.
I changed out mine for a set of targets and it's a much better fit than the originals ...
... and no the ammo pictured didn't get shot up!

A10ACN,
Just checked; the revolver is a 35 no dash, so it sounds like it should be an improved I-frame.
