$300 is a steal, get the damn thing.
Should be made around '73 I think.

Yes. $300 is a no-brainer unless condition is a significant issue.
I claim no expertise on the stainless sight question but I have seen it answered a number of times on this forum. I have not seen an answer from a reliable resource. Supposedly for both the Model 66 and Model 67 the stainless sights were limited to the first year of production.
67 (no dash) made 1972-1977
67-1 made 1977-1988
Pinned barrel went bye-bye in 1982.
67-2 made 1988-1993.
SCSW lists 1972 serial #'s as follows:
1972 serial number should be 2K55997 - 2K99999; 3K31280 - 5K6616; 4K1 - 4K1627

At $300 it's probably already sold. I wouldn't be able to get my money out of my pocket fast enough for that deal.

Are you going to have to wait until Monday? If so, do the following.
1. Call the store with this message. "I'll take it".
2. Email the store with the above message.
3. Be the first person in the door on Monday.
This is a deal you will likely NEVER get again, even if it doesn't have original stocks, box and papers.

Silver (stainless) sights were on very early model 66s and 67s, but I doubt anyone can pinpoint a cutoff date or SN for them; as with many other guns, the factory would use up old parts after a parts change such as this was ordered.

I got this first year Model 67 in 2013 for $350.00 and felt it was a good deal. Has the numbered magna stocks...took them off and put the targets on (kept the magnas). Shoots great. Yours for $300 two years later is a steal.

I paid $625 for one last year. I know it was too much, but the seller (a consignment sale) was firm and I wanted it. I don't regret the buy at all.

Picked this 67 up last week for $399. It's condition is perfect, an estate gun. I believe I'm the first to fire it. Fired 6 times then cleaned. Sn dates it a 73 model.

Unless it has been run over by a tank, any 15/67 for $300.00 these days is a steal.

Buy it as that's a great deal if it's mechanically sound and relatively clean.

Buddy snagged one at the murphreesboro gun show in August. Wasn't home 30 minutes before he had the grinder out converting it to a round butt. Also bead blasted the stainless front and rear sight blades to reduce glare. Came out very nice.

I shot my 67 no dash yesterday after putting magna grips on it. I was shooting it well. Serial# 5K193xx. My wife usually shoots it. I paid $375 for mine a few years back. Congrats on your great deal! You will enjoy shooting it. Bob

With deals like that I'd be visiting that gun shop on a very regular basis.

M67/M15
Forget about the sights, look at it for what it truly is, an excellent shooter with the action that has make this model and the 15 what it is, a joy to shoot. I wouldn't labor to much longer whether it is a good deal as a lot of people feel as I do and will snap that 67 up for that price. The SS sights and box are just icing on the cake.

Good deal on that 4 inch 629. I had a 3",4" and 5". A grandson wanted one of them, I gave him the 4 inch. Now I am looking for one. Most older 629's are $800 out here. Love those 629's great guns.

I got a 67-1 about 18 months ago on gunbroker for $275. Auction started at $250 with a buy it now price of $275. I hit buy it now immediately. Auction was less than 10 minutes old when I bought it. Gun is in excellent shape and is my favorite revolver.
Last spring I saw a mint model 15 for $375. I knew my wife would kill me so I didn't buy it. I'm still kicking myself.

Wish that I could find one for that price. Saw two M67s yesterday at a local gun show. Both had prices over $900.
