Default Factory K round to square conversions?

I just won these stocks advertised as K frames. I reached out to one of the members here asking if he thinks they are factory K frame or factory J frame stocks. What do you think?

They are J frame target grips that will fit either a RB or SB frame. I also won a set recently which have the black washers. By the way, while looking at your grips on photo bucket, I saw some very nice revolvers.

Thanks! I am just not sure how they could fit a square butt frame without removing some wood...

You shouldn't need to remove any wood. I tried mine on several Js, RB and SB, and at the presemt time they are on a 63-5 3". Post some pics when you find the right one. You don't see the checkered targets for sale often.

They'll work great on either SQ or RD butt. Here's a set on a SQ butt.
