Default Question on Mod 66 Snubby

I picked up a Mod 66 no dash, pinned barrel snubby today, serial 13k11xx and have a couple of questions-

1. Is there any way to tell if tis gun was sent back to factory to be polished? Whoever polished it did a great job. I have attached pics of all symbols on gun.

2. The gun had Pachy grips on it and I had a pair of rb grips that I put on it but the screw that was with the wooden grips is too short. Can't remember if I bought them on here or at gun show but it is about 1/16" to short as it will not reach the threads on the right side grip once attached to gun. Are there different screw lengths for k-frames stocks?

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may offer and have a Blessed Evening!

I don't think there's really any way to tell if it was returned for polishing. As easy as it is to polish stainless yourself, not to mention far less expensive, it seems like overkill to send it away.
All those marks look like assembly markings.... I don't see any that could be interpreted as a date among them, at least from what I can see.
I've seen different length screws for different styles of stocks, so yes. If you google it, you'll probably come up with a few for sale.
Very nice 66! Congratulations!!
