Default New to me ... and its older brother

I saw a model 67 listed locally and while it was a listed tad higher than I wanted to pay at 450.00 - I offered 400.00 and the guy had the nerve to accept- dang I afterall did offer but it did hurt a bit- I am after all old enough to remember 200.00 ones and 100.00 model 10's....

I have been blessed with some great revolvers but like most I was side tracked by autos for a while as a young man- well who am I kiddin I still like them too Anyhow I have a nice pre model 15 I got several years back from a old guy I knew and I wanted a stainless version for a while- I mean they make great guns! Heck if I find a good deal I would take more blued ones too I would love a couple more 19's or 66 too but the prices are getting nutty on those.... I like most of us am kickin myself for not buying a bunch when the auto craze hit and they were bein almost given away ... Oh well if I average what I have into these two I am happy. The 67 has an action that is awesome! It has a target trigger and target hammer which I actually like more than I thought I would on this smaller piece and it came with the original box marked TT,TH

BTW since I have ya all- any guess on current pricing/value ? Curious if I did ok or just bought a few months early

I am not crazy about the polish but it is growing on me- I may try to restore it to original or even glass bead blast it eventually... I do need to shoot it and its older brother though.... soon

anyhow here is a picture of the temptress and the sibling...

There's one at a LGS by me with a $400 asking price, so I'd say you did just fine.

I picked up one last week. It was $314.00. I was lucky to get it at that price. They are selling between $350.00 thru $475.00. You did good. The way they are incrementally climbing in price, this time next year I think they will be in the low to mid 500's for shooters.

I like both of them! I have a 67 no dash that I bought a few years ago on Guns America. Was very clean, w/magna grips. Paid $375, or $395. Just put magna grips back on it. I have the same stocks (Herrett) on my 586. They are worn, but comfy. I would buy a nice 67 any day at $400. Congrats! Bob
