Finally found my Grail Gun: 27-2
Have been looking for two guns for awhile now. One was the 27-2 3.5 inch barrel. Was giving up as they were approaching and in some cases exceeding snake gun prices. Someone located one and put me on it. Gun is in like new condition without a mark on it. Made in 1972. Pleased to say the least. Hope to get some better pictures in a couple of days. Heavy rain and low light making it difficult.

Since YOU brought up prices , care to say what that one went for? You can PM me if preferred....or not answer if also preferred.
It's a beauty! Box, too?
(I've disclosed my buy costs in the past, hope I'm not being retarted [sic] by asking )

Beautiful! Enjoy! And, let's see how bad that price looks in 5 years, huh?

I do have a shooter grade I bought a year ago. The lighting made it look better than it is. Has an awesome action job. It's 10 years newer than the 3.5 I just bought, the bluing is totally different and it's nothing like the other. I know the 3.5 is like new but still surprised to see that much difference in the bluing.

In the interim between when the two revolvers were built, S&W significantly changed their bluing methods...
