Both are beautiful looking Chiefs Specials, great color. Would this be a Type 3 flat latch.

Very Nice pair 
IMO both appear to be the 3rd style flat latch that has a ramp that rises in the front, The first style was a flat oval shape with serrations, second style looks like the ones above but does not have the ramped step up at the front.
