Default Engraved Model 36

Although I haven't been on the forum in quite some time I'm hoping I can get some assistance here. Looking to sell a fully engraved Model 36 for a friend who is in financial trouble. The gun was engraved by Walter Shannon of Waldron Arkansas. His style appears to mimic that of Cole Agee. Mr Shannon engraved quite a few guns throughout this part of the country and his work looks very good to me.

This particular piece was done for my friends dad several years ago as payment for dental services. There is no box and no paperwork to go along with the gun.

I have attached two photos here but I was so caught up in the moment that I failed to get the serial number. I will get that and post as soon as possible though.

Any comments or suggestions as to value, significance, etc are greatly appreciated.

I don't think the serial number is of much consequence.
I suppose that I could give the standard answer-value will be established by placing it on GunBroker with good photos.
I can't judge the quality of the engraving from your photos, but I think that the gold plating limits it's market.

Have seen several of Shannon's engraved guns on the market over the years. They never have seemed to bring much of a premium. Just a wild guess on the 36, in the grand to 1,200 range, May be high, may be low.
I have seen folks with more $ than sense spend a fortune on something they wanted no matter its value.

Im not an engraved fan for the most part, but that little beauty just does something. It is a cutie.
