Default Titanium Cylinders?

I'm sure this has been discussed to death. What I'm wondering is this. Did we ever figure out a concrete list of Do's and Don'ts for these things? What is the expected life of such a beast. Maybe we need a sticky with all the useful information on titanium cylinders?

I've just realized that I've placed this in the wrong forum. Sorry about that. Mods, please move it.
