New Acquisition - S&W K22?
I just acquired a S&W 22 cal revolver in excellent condition. It is blued, 4" barrel, 6 shot specimen with an adjustable rear sight.. The serial number is K 2474XX. I am trying to detemine the year of manufacture. Thanks in advance for your help and to verify the model number.

It is from 1955, and a 4" barrel rimfire K frame of this year is a .22 Combat Masterpiece, after 1957 the model 18. Hope this is helpful.

So the correct designation for my example is " 22 Combat Masterpiece"?
Is that correct?
