Question Valuation on 29-2

Guys, I am a FFL and normally only deal in autos and know very little about revolvers but took a shot on a trade today and want to get someone's opinion on the gun I just did some trading for. The guys walks up and says he wants a couple of my guns and talks me into the trade after I did a little research. It is a 1980 29-2 polished blue Mag-na-ported 44mag with pinned 3 1/2" crowned barrel and a few other extras including 6 speed loaders. I even have a lot of paperwork for the gun including the quote for the work from Mag-na-port Int'l from the desk of Larry Kelly and then a signed warranty return from Kenneth Kelly... I have no clue if this means much?. The pictures do not do this thing justice, there isn't one blemish on the gun except the ring on the cylinder.

Doing this on an iPad and not sure how to attach multiple pics

I may not be able to tell you any history on that one but I can tell you that I LIKE IT - A LOT!

Barrel cut, recrowned, magna ported, sight re-installed, hammer and trigger "jeweled".

I'm thinking it looks like it's a total custom job, and you got ALL the paperwork for the customization.

One very sweet custom revolver. What did you give as a trade for it?

So you're into this one for about $1100.

Doesn't sound bad to me, given what it is and it's condition, but some of our resident experts will be along shortly to give you a better idea of market value on it....

Thanks BC38, I appreciate your time. If it is a wash... I may just keep it. The thing is beautiful in my hand!
