Memphis area auction with S&W's
Reckon any of these S&W's would be worth the trouble of driving through memphis ? (Not all the guns are s&w)
There are no descriptions with the revolvers, & the auction company didn't provide teh best pictures (maybe on purpose)

No I don't. Unless the top gun is a 10-5 chambered in .357.

Might want to check first and see if the auction house will ship to your FFL. Otherwise, I always enjoy making a trek to auctions as long as they have something I have and interest.

From top to bottom, likely:
A model 10-6
.38 Regulation Police, with a chopped barrel
.38 Military & Police of unclear vintage, 1905-'26?
A Rossi, likely .38 Special
All look well-used, so unless they are particularly desirable to you or go for a low price it may or may not be worth the trip.

There is one 357 in the lot, i assume its the top one. Not really looking for anything unless its a good deal.. They had some bulk ammo in the auction & that is what caught my attention..

Yes, that one could be a model 13-1 or 2.

Auctions with bad pics and bad descriptions are were the best deals can be found in my experience. However an auction with only 3 S&W's isn't something I'd be to interested in unless it was close to me.
You aren't going to find a diamond in the rough if they have 10 good pictures of every gun and they do a live internet feed.

That top one is the only one I would be interested in IF it’s a model 13. Personally, I’ve given up on auctions. Everyone I’ve gone to, guns have sold for well above market and after a “Buyers premium” and FFL transfer fees get added…. Forget it!

I quit auctions too. Usually guns sell for an OK bid price but when you add the %20-%30+ buyers premium/fees you could have just set up a search on Gunbroker and waited for a similar gun to come available and bid or buy it now and not waist hours of your time/gas/food/uncomfortable chairs. Lets face it the whole fast passed format of an auction is just to get you to bid that one more time and to make it a competition to beat the other bidders and therefore become the bid "winner" and who doesn't want to be a winner!
