Default VERY QUICK PRICE CHECK - ONLY NEED A FEW!

Guys and Gals,

Need a quick "intervention"!!

NIB Model 63, pinned, 4" barrel, square butt. Box, cleaning kit, original buyer's receipt, all of it. Gun is perfect, tools are perfect, box is perfect. All matches up. Looks to be literally unfired. The ask is $800, which seems very, very high to me, but doubt there is a nicer one in existence.

Thoughts??

Would this be a no-lock version, if YES - They are very sought after and probably worth every penny and more.

A 3" barrel model 63 is probably a model 63-5, 8 shot, with the fiber optic front sight. For a high condition example with box I would suggest $500 - $600 based upon successful closed auctions on Gun Broker.

On the other hand if you're talking about an older model 63 like a 63 no-dash with a 4" pinned barrel (6 shot) LNIB then the $800 price is probably a reasonable price.

I would pay $800 for the gun you describe. Just my 2 cents.

I would put a date on this at around 1978.

Even if a bit high, will likely pass that point in a year or so.

While this ain't helping the intervention, you have to ask yourself one question: are you ever going to see that package again? If not, may be time to snap that up...

I don't keep track of LNIB examples as I shoot what I have, but if folks on here say it's reasonable, or even a tad high, when was the last time you saw one like that in your area ? I'd say scoop it and put it away..if you're one that is a collector or wishes to become one. If you are a shooter , I'd pass and let someone who IS a collector know where it is.

Good points by both! It won't be possible to find one "cleaner" as the whole package is as new from the factory. Even the box doesn't have a mark on it. Tools, paperwork, original receipt, all there and without flaw.

I've got my share of shooters, so this would simply find itself in the back of the safe for my kids, kids to discover. Sure as heck has to beat the 0.00012% interest the bank is so kindly able to offer!
