Someone mentioned to me recently that the price of Pachmayer grips (at least for Colt Pythons) was going up rapidly as they are no longer made. Is this correct, Pachmayer are out of business, or just no longer make the Python grip? Gosh, just think could some day a rubber grip be worth big $$?

Some gun shops or pawn shops might put a price on something twenty years ago and never bothered to update it. Maybe they don't know or care.
About ten years ago, I found a like new set of checkered N-Frame football targets at a local shop for $7.50. I bought them to replace the Pachs on a new M629 I had. Unfortunately, at that time I did not realize the difference between square butt and round butt and did not like how they looked when installed. So I took them back and got a refund.

For the last two weekends I've been looking at gunshows for a set of K frame round butt wood grips, "combat" I believe is the type. I need them to replace a set of ugly Uncle Mikes rubber grips that came standard on a model 19-8. Not looking for anything fancy, just an upgrade.
I have played hell even FINDING a set of K frame RB grips, even from vendors that sell a LOT of grips. When I do find a set, they are priced at nearly 75% of what I paid FOR THE GUN. lol
I'll keep looking, such is the fun of the hunt I guess.
Wish I could find a set for $20!!!

TRE, advertise for the stocks in our classifieds. Most of these old guys, (oops, I mean most of US old guys) have a box of stocks, and another of holsters.

Probably north of $100, maybe as much as $150, depending on condition etc.
The ones in the OP have the diamond in the center, which no doubt adds even more to the price.
