That article incorrectly states that the Dirty Harry gun used in filming was a Model 57. It was not. It was a 29.

I been hearing that DH used a m57 many times. Who knows rumors?
If we watch the movie closely I swear they switched to the 8 3/8" barrel when looking up the barrel shots to make it look bigger. I like to read any info I can find on the 41.
The 41magnum is gaining in popularity so fast now even ruger is offering a 41 magnum in there new 4.2" barrel revolver line up.
Don't count the 41 magnum out just yet.
