Default No Tulsa for me this year stayed home saved travel $$ and picked up a 29-2 Nickel 6.5

Stayed home this year and while all the local sharks were out of town in Tulsa, I picked up a 1978 vintage 29-2 Nickel 6.5 inch at a local estate auction 10 minutes from the house this afternoon. Not cherry but I think pretty nice for $625 out the door. Bought some old collectible ammo, grips, holsters reasonable and 2 P85 magazines, 1 SS PPK 380 magazine, & 2 WWII vintage maker marked 1911 magazines for $32.50. Passed on a late mode 29-3 8 3/8 blue that was about 90% for $775. 150 guns and a bunch of other shooting stuff = 3 hours and 17 minutes of fun.

Nice find at a great price! Sounds like you saved money on gas and the aggravation of a gun show crowd and found a nice looking pistol besides.

I was always a sucker for nice, nickel plated N frames myself!
