Good job!!! I have a 14-3 from 1977. It came with target stocks. Awesome, aren't they? Still some good deals to be had. Enjoy your 14! I am picking up my 3rd. gun of the year today. What is wrong with me? Bob

Congratulations! You found yourself some nice ones. I am very fond of .38s, especially when configured in the S&W K frame. They make me look good when I go to the range!

Newest Revolver and a few extras!
My 14-3 from 1974 is a recent purchase too and I gotta say, one of my favorites.

These Model 14s are beautiful guns and need to be shot.
I used my K38 14-2 in many Police Combat matches in the late 60s into the 70s.
Some of the matches I was sandwiched between Jimmy Cirillo and Bill Allard on the firing line.
One competition in Jackson NJ I cleaned the 50 yard match with the 14-2 and factory Remington 148gr HBWC.I never did that again.
Watching Jimmy Cirillo shoot Police Combat was like watching a shooting machine.
I bought a 14-3 when they came out but never used it in competition.
Enjoy it and shoot it often!
