Default M36 Current Value Question

I have an older M36, nickel, that I have almost never shot - just never found it fun to shoot, Im toying with the idea of selling it although I try not to sell guns just buy LOL. What are they currently going for? SN is J9507xx, it has some stag grips on it now but I think I have the original ones still somewhere (I hope)

Thanks in advance

You don’t give enough info for a reasonable estimate because there are too many variables. That serial number would put it in 1982. If it is a 2” barrel it would probably be about $350+/-. If you have the original grips and box that value could go up. If it is a 3” barrel, that would make a difference. If the stag grips are actually stag and not plastic imitation, that will make a difference. You are in CA so that also increases the value for PPT if it is off-roster which I suspect it is.

I suspect you could get $500 in some markets for that revolver, certainly if you have a pinned example and if you have the original grips or if you have great stag grips.

Thanks guys, 2" barrel. I was thinking it was worth more, guess I'll send it to a Smith for a trigger job & see if that makes it a better shooter for me.
