Default S&W model 27

I am seeking information on a smith & Wesson nickel plated revolver
It was manufactured 1967 the wood grips have matching serial numbers
The gun is believed to be a dealer sample and reported that only 26 were manufactured
The gun is about 8 on a 10 scale

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! You are going to have to give more info such as barrel length, serial number and photos of all sides and with the grips off. Your condition rating isn't auspicious and drags down the value.

You will get better answers if you post this in the Hand Ejector category. Photos will help. We need serial number, barrel length, type of sights, grip material, and source of your info. about only 26 made., etc. Good Luck, Ed.

Default Welcome to the Forum!

Your gun sounds interesting, but it isn't really an antique. You'd be better off posting this in the right sub-forum:

Also, this may be helpful in getting the information you seek:
To IDENTIFY your Gun >

We love photos, so if you can post some, that would really advance things.

Advising the OP to post again usually means we wind up with two threads we have to deal with.
Simply REPORT the post (as one of you did) with the at top right of every post, and we'll get it MOVED.
