Does anyone know what year the nickel finish was discontinued on the model 29?

The nickel finish on the Model 29 was discontinued in 1994.

I have a Model 29-10 shipped in 2006 with a factory nickel finish. I don't know when the nickel finish was offered (again) after it was discontinued.

Current production 29-10 pistols can be ordered in Nickel. I've seen a few at my local big box outdoor store.

My nickel 29-9 dates to around 2002, but it may not count since it's a performance center gun?
