Default 3.5" 27-2

I was needing a 3.5" form gun and this one appeared at just the right time...

This slick sixgun has had the front sight replaced, and wears a nice set of Elk stocks and Tyler-T.
It's a great shooter and I think we'll be friends for a long time.

I just picked up my second 3 1/2 inch Model 27 a few months back. Of my entire collection the Model 27s are my favorites.

Enjoy your new jewel.

Awful good chance he made it. OP says he was looking for a form gun. That's a clue.
He does a little bit of the fancy hide bendin' don'tcha know.

The 3.5" Model 27 is my favorite of all the barrel lengths. It handles like a dream ... just the right balance in the hand.

Iggy is right...that's one of mine. It's part of my Barranti-Myres line of gunleather.

If one was limited to just one revolver and holster--be hard to beat that combo.

I'm limited to about two dozen guns and 150 holsters, and that
combo is still hard to beat.

Beautiful gun! Want one just like it. In fact, I'll be a nice guy and trade you a 686-6 when you get tired of it, lol.

Gun is nice, Doc B, but the leather sets it off well! That cowhide would look outstanding on one of my BBQ guns.

That is a great looking holster! I have a "1969" S&W 3.5" mod. 27 wearing all the S&W goodies, and a very special set of KB fiddleback maple grips, made from my own special wood. I,v been looking for a nice BBQ holster to fit it, for a long time. That Mod. 27 has been posted on this forum a while back, but, I have lost my ability to post pictures, and navigate the internet. I would like to get in touch with you about making a, appropriate holster. How would I best get in touch with you about making one? Thanks.

My hope is that my customers get as much enjoyment out of using them as I get out of making them!
