Default Initials stamped on the inside of my 10-5 grips

Hi,

Just curious ... any idea what the "KPC" stamped on the grips of my 1969 vintage 10-5 means? The grips number to the gun. Is the "K" for "K frame"? Maybe it's a very early Performance Center gun!

K-frame Plain Clothes

Also known as "PC magnas", this refers to the rounded or relieved bottom edge of the grips.

That does look like a factory stamp. -db- gave you the reason for the letters.
