Hi I m going check it out this model 36 tomorrow. This is my first used revolver going to get. I need some help to identify the year of this serial # J661350
Owner says he shot very round thru the pipe very light cylinder mark. It come with all paper and the box. I wanna know what else I need to inspect on it. Thank you.

1978. There is a used revolver guid around these threads somewhere.

Just check push off, Travel of the cyl, fwd. and back. Trigger pull. Grips numbered to gun? Gap at cyl? Just general wear. Action smooth. All screws where they are suppose to be? I trust this will be a carry gun? How much?

Thanks for the information. The price is $600 and I m in California. The owner said it sit in the safe and only shot 60 rds on it.
