just going to looking in the book and see what year it is. I only had time to get the cash out my pocket, he was selling to rebuild his home after the flood here in Baton Rouge. He would sell I had to buy on the spot.

Really nice looking old Model 19, likely with non-original stocks I'd guess, but still a pretty gun. Congratulations!

Looks like the smith book puts it at 1968. can anyone check me out and see if I am correct. S#K791605

Those stocks look original to me. And I don't believe S&W was still numbering the stocks to the gun by dash 2. I may be wrong though.
