Default 34-1

At Lewistown Montana gun show I found and acquired a, as new in the box, Model 34-1, 2", RB, has box, warranty card, owners instruction brochure. Looks to be unfired, not sure.
Serial # is H2702X. Can someone tell me the approx. ship date?
Thank you.....

Congratulations! That is indeed a nice gun show find. I'm sure someone will be along soon to provide an approximate date for your gun. Oh, BTW, a few pics would be nice to see.

The Model 34-1 is J frame .22 L.R. and it never had an "H" serial number prefix. It did have an "M" prefix from about 1969 to the early 1980's.

The Models 30-1 and 31-1 did have an "H" prefix, but they were centerfire revolvers chambered for the .32 S&W Long cartridge.

You better check the gun again and see what you bought!

It was traded into, along with a 31-1, the tag was marked $645.00 on the 34-1. I'll see about getting pics up.
