Default lead bullet diameter

has anyone decided whether the m14 prefers .357 or .358 bullets? I slugged my barrel once but I forgot what it was.

thanks
Rich

If you're shooting cast I always use .358 in my smith and ruger revolvers. If you were talking about a colt python , that's a different story .

.358 works best in my Model 10. Should be the best in your 14. That's cast bullets. For jacketed use .357s.
