Default Combat Masterpiece 15-2 & .38 SPL +P question

Is there a problem shooting .38 Special +P rounds out of a "Combat Masterpiece" model 15-2?

Thanks!

God bless,
Birdgun

No. If it's steel and has a model number, virtually everyone (including S&W) would agree that it is OK. BTW, model numbers started in 1957.

I like to stick with ammunition that has 158 grain bullets. Whether that is a big deal or not, I don't know, more of a personal preference. 148 grain target loads are nice too.

I really don't think you could wear your revolver out shooting +P.

Thanks all. I didn't buy the 15-2, but got this little 15-4.

I'm just a little bit proud of her.

God bless,
Birdgun
