Recent purchase
Picked up an S222XXX serial no. 28-2 from 1961-2.
Came with original box, papers, etc.

Looking good! I'd be hunting for a pair of diamond magna grips to go on it. They just make those old N Frames look right.

This one came with TS per the box. The 28-2 could be ordered with them from the factory. In the box was the football targets with diamond centers. I like the smooth better. I agree the 28-2 s look good with magnas, but only on the 4".

Not any more.
That one looks like it has one of the better bluing jobs that some lucky M28s got. I assume it is not re-blued.

Very nice! I have a no dash from 1960. S2011xx. Herrett stocks feel great to me, but do have a beautiful set of diamond targets for it. Enjoy your 28! Bob
