Here's a brace of revolvers for you.
A Mod 64 with a set of smooth Rosewoods & Tyler T.
It's a D serial numbered gun of around 500,000. That would put it 1972 or '73, I guess. Notice a little red paint on the front sight?

The Mod 10 is a round butt C serial number of around 500,000 and a four screw gun that's probably from 1961 or '62.



Those standard barrel .38 spl revolvers were the type of gun that got me interested in S&W's to start with. I do like the profile of a 4 inch gun.

Oh and that's a jewelry box/presentation case that my wife made for me by sewing up a stuffed blue liner - just like a factory case!
