Default Model 10-7 Snub

Found this nice Model 10-7 at a local pawn shop. It has matching number grips, pinned, round butt and is 2" and with a 6D serial number I figure about 1980. It has a few minor scuffs from sliding in and out of a holster. I paid $375 for it and don't find many in this condition or size. Just had to show it off.

I don't blame you for wanting to show it off! I got a 10-5 R.B. snub last March. It is fun to shoot, and is currently my Avitar. Bob

I believe your assessment of 1980 is correct, probably the latter part.

I picked up one in similar condition last year..........

The SCS&W 4th Ed. published this year puts a premium on Model 10s with;

a 2" barrel = 20% premium

round butt adds an extra $50-100 in higher condition grades......

over the "Exc." market value of $400 and "VG" of $350.

putting your gun's market value in the $470 to $580 range.

You done good

NICE. I'd buy it for that price for sure.
Man, either the market is really softening or people are getting some damned good buys lately....
