Default Nickel Model 58

Just picked up this nickel 58 and man is she sweet. It's not wearing the original PC magnas but the stocks that are on it are awful nice!

I'm not sure who makes them but they look to be Blu Magnums.

Here is a quick cell phone pic. The nickel is in phenomenal shape and the action is pretty slick.

Really nice find.

I like the Stocks on there too.

The Magnas are useless on that Gun.

Now you can join the "Un-offical Model 58 Club ".
SWEET !

My avatar model 58 has Ahrends Retro Combats , if nice exotic wood appeals to you more than rubber . His Retro Targets are nice too. The stocks on yours appears to be rubber, correct me if I'm wrong.
Much more shooter friendly than the stock S&W grips that came on it .
Gary

The stocks on the gun appear to be Walnut and the grain is very nice.

A set of Grashorn stags would look great on that gun.

Nice 58 . I bought mine yrs ago , blued model . I bought a set of PC Magna's right away and have never regretted it . I have shot several thousands rounds through mine and it still wears them . Some people like them , some don't . I suggest you make up your own mind . I got mine on gun broker , the gun and the grips .

Younggun, Nice Model 58

I had the chance to shoot my first Model 58 this week, thanks to Old Corp. It was a *****cat shooting the "police" rounds. With full house Magnum ammo it was a hand full. I'm glad I tried it, but it's not something I would want to shoot a bunch, with the Magnum ammo.

Congrats.

I once had a nickel M58 that had been the duty gun of a Birmingham AL PD Sgt.
