I know we have been through this, but I love wood and its properties. Someone started a thread that made me dig for pictures, and I haven't posted this one in awhile. Hate to just forget it when it is so nice of wood, so let's share it with you guys.

Used to be I couldn't afford many guns, but I would find decent wood grips at gun shows and buy them if they were $20 or less:





I wound up collecting quite a few pairs. Here is a sampling of them:

How about a set from John Culina, with a Coke profile in English Walnut, Exhibition Grade, hand checkered to 20 lpi with medallions. My personal favorite.
