Default 12-2 and 10-5 at cabela's in Utah

Just got home from the Cabelas in Farmington, UT. In the gun library, they have a both those K frames with their original boxes and papers. Didn't see any tools with them. They had the 12-2 listed at $449 and the 10-5 listed at $499. Didn't ask to look at the model 12 so I don't know if it has a cracked frame, but they were both in very nice shape with minimal turn lines on the cylinders. Thought I'd let you guys know in case you live nearby and to see what you thought of the asking prices. Serial on the 12 was D215xx if I recall and somewhere in the D3xxxxx range for the mod 10.

The crack issue scares me on a 12. BUT.... I sure would like a 12 snub! Bob

I have three 37s, two 12s, a 42 and a 642. No cracks. Used to have another 42 and another 12. No cracks. Bought a non-gun cracked 12 for parts. Saw a cracked 42 in Florida, once.

I don't know whether that should be scored 9 to 2, or what. It has definitely been known to happen. You can probably figure out why I believe that it is far more frequent that it doesn't happen.
